Waiting Saturday

Dear church family,

This morning I'd like us to consider what it would have been like for the Apostles on the Saturday after the death of the Lord. They didn't understand that He was going to rise from the grave the next day. They didn't even know enough to wait. We're waiting for an end to this quarantine that we know will come. We don't know when but it will end, probably before too long. However, either way, it does not ultimately matter. God has promised that one day He would deliver us from this life into His presence for all eternity. That is our ultimate hope. God's promises are sure.

Yours on behalf of the pastors,

John
